Strawberry harvest in Cyprus

In Cyprus, strawberry harvesting is an important seasonal activity. The cultivation of strawberries has good conditions on the island, as the climate is mild and the land is fertile. The main harvest period is between December and June, with most strawberries harvested in February and March. Strawberry harvesting in Cyprus is still a traditional manual work.
